🏐 Let’s Play Netball – Free 3-Week Pre-Season Clinic

Get into Netball with Our Exclusive Let's Play Netball Clinic!
This fun, free 3-week program is designed for boys and girls aged 7-10! Whether your child is new to netball or getting ready for another season, this clinic is the perfect way to start the season on the right foot.

The clinic will be led by experienced players with strong connections to the Sydney Swifts and Netball NSW. These skilled coaches are passionate about introducing kids to the game, teaching fundamental skills like passing, movement, teamwork, and confidence, all in a friendly and supportive environment.

This clinic offers a fantastic introduction to netball, where kids will have loads of fun while learning the core skills that will help them grow as players—plus, they’ll make new friends and get ready for the season ahead!

🏐 Free Cronulla RSL Netball Club Uniform

New Cronulla RSL Netball players aged 7-10 who register before 9 February 2025 and complete our uniform order form will receive a free club uniform!

🏐 Free NetSetGo Gear

As part of the Woolworths NetSetGo program, players will receive official NetSetGo gear, including a Suncorp Super branded t-shirt, size 4 netball, and keychain.

🏐 Weekly Skill Building Sessions and Match Play

After the clinic, your child will enjoy weekly training sessions with their team, plus modified match play or competition games, depending on age group.
7-9 Years: Modified match play on Friday afternoons.
10 Years: Junior competition on Saturday mornings.

Program Breakdown

"Set" – For Kids Aged 7-8 Years

This program is designed for younger players with little or no experience. It focuses on building confidence, learning the fundamentals of netball, and having fun with friends. Your child will be introduced to the basics of the game in a friendly and supportive environment!

No experience needed!
Focused on skill-building, teamwork, and confidence.
Fun and inclusive environment for beginners!
Includes 3 week let's play netball clinic, weekly training sessions plus modified game play. The use of modified rules and equipment reduces competitive stress, allowing children more time and space to practice and develop their skills.

"Go" – For Kids Aged 9-10 Years

Designed for players who are either new to netball or looking to build on their existing skills, the "Go" program focuses on refining techniques, game understanding, and building a love for the sport. Through skill drills and match play, your child will become a more confident player while enjoying plenty of fun and making new friends. Modified games are a great way for participants to learn the technical and tactical skills of netball. This enables greater involvement of participants and provides more opportunity to execute skills and make decisions.

Modified Matches look like a traditional game of netball and use the full sized court and normal playing positions however the goal post height and ball size are modified.

For 5-7 year-olds, these active and fun "Net" sessions will introduce your child to the basics of netball in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Does my child require experience to join?

Not at all! Our programs are perfect for beginners, and no experience is required to join.

What if my child has already been playing nursery netball?

Awesome! Our programs are age appropriate so your child will be building on their existing skills while making new friends and fostering a love of netball.

What equipment and clothing is required?

For training sessions and clinic: Dress comfortable sportswear and sneakers, bring a drink bottle, and your Suncorp netball (if you have received it), clearly labeled with your child's name.

For matches: a club uniform is required for all 7 - 10 year players, along with sports shoes and a drink bottle filled with water.

Can my child play with friends?

Absolutely! Just put down the friend's names at the time of registration.

Can we enter a block team?

Yes, junior block teams require a minimum of 7 players with a maximum of 10 players.

Can I volunteer or help with coaching etc?

Absolutely! Every team requires a coach and manager and we warmly encourage our parents to get involved, whether it’s through coaching, managing teams, umpiring or supporting on match days.

My child played with Cronulla RSL Netball Club in 2024, can they participate in the 3 week clinic

Absolutely! It's a pre-season clinic to get everyone back in the game!

Do you accept Active Kids Vouchers?

Yes. If you have an Active Kids Voucher, make sure to enter your code during registration to claim your rebate, this cannot be added after registration.

What is the Woolworths NetSetGo Participant Pack and How Do I Claim it?

The Woolworths NetSetGo pack is available to all 7 - 10 year old participants. The pack includes a Suncorp Super branded t-shirt, netball and keychain. You must select your chosen Suncorp team and t-shirt size during the registration process. The pack will be sent directly to your address from Netball Australia.

How do we take advantage of the free uniform offer?

Register before 9 February 2025 and complete the order form to access your free uniform. Be sure to submit your uniform option and size at the time of registration. Uniform options and sizing chart can be found here.

Games are played at Bellingara Netball Courts, Miranda.

8s + 9s: Friday afternoon, times to be advised.

10s: Saturday morning, 4 rotating time slots from 8am.
