Absolutely! We welcome players of all levels, including those returning to the game after some time away. Each year, we field comeback teams designed for players just like you. It’s a great opportunity to ease back into the game in a low-pressure, low-grade environment. You’ll have fun, build your skills, and reconnect with the sport at your own pace. Let’s get you back on the court!
We love welcoming new faces to the Shire, and each season we typically form a couple of low-grade, social netball teams especially for players new to the area often mixed with some locals. It’s the perfect way to ease into the game, meet people, and become part of the community. No pressure—just good vibes and great netball!

Training is optional and decided by each individual team. If your team would like to hold training sessions, simply let us know your preferred day and time so we can arrange a court for you.
Absolutely! Every team requires a coach and manager and we warmly encourage you to get involved, whether it’s through coaching, managing teams, umpiring or helping on our committee.
Your team has two options when it comes to umpires. You can either supply your own umpire, or you can request an umpire through our Umpires Convenor, who will schedule one for your team.
Please note that umpires charge $30 per game, and this fee is payable on the day of the match. To ensure a smooth process, we kindly ask that payment is made prior to the match, as umpires need to get to their next game afterward.
Cronulla RSL Netball Club provides each team with a kit bag consisting of a new game ball and a training ball, game patches and training bibs, plus a basic first aid kit.
Netball registration doesn’t include Cronulla RSL Club membership, but you can opt to join and enjoy benefits like discounts on food, drinks, entertainment, reward points, and free parking. As a Cronulla RSL Netball Club member, simply join in person or via the app, and quote the code provided to you with your registration pack to waive the $5 joining fee.
